TORONTO, Feb. 11, 2014 – Tune-in tonight for the 15th episode of season two’s Extraordinary Women TV, when host Shannon Skinner speaks with Mitzie Hunter, MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood, about getting more Canadian women interested in politics; plus Victoria Sopik, CEO & Co-Founder, Kids & Company, about her unique and highly successful organization and how she balances work-life with 8 children. The show airs tonight at 7pm ET on Rogers TV Cable 10/63 in Toronto/Scarborough.
This episode also features the first in a series of “Woman to Watch” segments highlighting several Canadian women who are creating or starting interesting businesses or careers, as we celebrate their achievements to-date and cheer them on. The first in the series is Toronto-based horror filmmaker, Tricia Lee.
The hit television series began as the first-of-its-kind web TV talk show for women in Canada, and has grown into an inspirational, relevant and informative resource for women who want to follow their hearts and dreams, and live extraordinary lives.
